17-year-old Anna-Sophia Boguraev has watched her fair share of NASA rocket launches from a computer at home.
But today's resupply launch to the International Space Station was different. Because this time, Boguraev was right there on the ground in Cape Canaveral, watching her very own science experiment blast off into space.
Boguraev won last year’s ‘Genes in Space’ competition, which means her set of 8 DNA test tubes is joining about 250 other science experiments (plus an inflatable room) aboard the SpaceX cargo ship heading into outer space right now.
